The harmful effect of gender ideology activism

The biological differences of men and women are clear. Instead of inspiring people to love who they are, the left believes that it’s more compassionate for them to radically change their body, despite the consequences.

Teaching CPR/First Aid has been one of the best experiences of my life. Participants often come into class thinking they will be bored, and most are just trying to get through it because they have to. Their employer requires them to go, so it’s not hard to understand why there would be little enthusiasm for a class they’ve possibly completed multiple times. I don’t blame them. I’d be lying if I didn’t say I wouldn’t view it in a similar way if I didn’t teach the class. So in an effort to better stimulate interest, I often create activities and group discussions to break up the monotony of just watching videos. I like to bring up studies and facts outside of the basic curriculum, that way they might leave learning something new. It can often spark passionate discussions about health and wellness, and this is much needed in today’s chaotic worldview thinking.

When I cover the medical emergency section of the course, it often surprises participants that women are more likely to die from cardiac arrest than men. Though multiple theories exist, one simple explanation is that signs and symptoms can often present themselves differently than they do in men. Women might dismiss heart issues and not believe anything is concerning. Often, it’s just a headache, or stress. For men over 40, even the most minor of symptoms might be troubling to them. Since heart disease is more often associated with men and age, there can often be an overreaction, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing . But the reason women react differently is quite simple. Women have a higher pain threshold than men, and all of us know why. They can have children.

In addition to the psychological harm being done when encouraging a person to transform their gender, there’s also the medical risks of this false reality as well. How is a doctor supposed to educate a patient about breast or prostate cancer, or that the risk of osteoarthritis is greater in women than men. Depression is common in men over 40, and the highest rate of suicide that exists are for men over the age of 45. Depression and anxiety are often genetic, and a person’s gender may determine if they are at greater risk for it. Many doctors are concerned that patients who identify as a different gender or have gone through a transition will insist on being examined based on their chosen gender, not actual gender.

In the relentless pursuit of encouraging people to embrace how they really “feel” instead of focusing on why they feel that way, the left has completely forfeited logical reasoning. This isn’t anything new, and the origins of this misguided thinking date back to the 1950’s, when doctors Alfred Kinsey and John Money laid the groundwork of redefining gender from it’s scientific meaning to one of personal sexual identity. There’s a dark history behind their advocacy, from patients that committed suicide after gender transitioning surgery at a very young age, to normalizing the idea of bestiality. Tragically, many of the voices that are now speaking up warning about the dangers of pushing young people to make such a drastic life changing decision at a very young page are not being heard. This isn’t an overstatement. Boston’s Children Hospital has recently received criticism for it’s advocacy that children were entitled to hysterectomy’s and metoidioplasty, which is the creation of a non functioning penis. USA Today recently fact checked this information, and reportedly, BCH claims the accusation was false, that a person must be 18 years of age, and live as the desired gender for a year before such a procedure would take place. But questions persist. How do you live as your desired gender for a year if you are not that gender, and the fact that hormone replacement therapy is often encouraged at a very young age, as well as transgender surgery at 17.

The idea of encouraging someone to change their appearance to fit how they feel is a stark contradiction to the idea that one should love and embrace who they really are. Whether or not you believe in a higher power, we are all created uniquely different, and should accept the strengths and weaknesses we have. This is truly loving yourself, much like the individual with a disability has the courage to live with their limitations. The left’s passion for transgenderism is somewhat bizarre, as well as uncivil. To them, even creation is not off limits. This is arguably the greatest threat we have seen to humankind, despite their manic behavior to Americans in red hats.

Until next time
